“From the time I met the representative, it took thirty minutes to talk to him as there were other people also collecting cars. When my turn came, he said it would take five minutes for the car to arrive, which turned out to be fifteen minutes. Signed all the forms and credit card details. Loaded our baggage into the car and got ready to head off, to discover the car was manual not automatic, which was booked. The representative discovered that he had completed the wrong documentation, so he advised a wait of another five minutes, which turned into fifteen minutes. While we were waiting we removed our baggage from the manual car. When the automatic car arrived we reloaded our baggage again. The first thing that showed on the dash when I started the car was a warning light "stop/start system fault", I wasn't going to hang around any longer, so I decided it was better to keep going. And to top it all off my wife discovered she was missing her coat the following day and believes she left it in the first car due to all the confusion.
I don't want you to think I'm a cribber, I just hope that this information might help to you. There were three representatives there for most of the time, but only one of them was handling the hand-overs and the paper work, the other two were going to the ticket machine for the cars to exit, but had to go to the main man each time for his credit card to use in the machine. There must be a better way to spread the load, rather than it all falling on one man.”
